After taking Zabrina to my home ward in Versailles, we used the day to visit the chateau and to walk the beautiful gardens. As always, the chateau was beautiful! Surprisingly, there were not as many tourists there as I expected which is always a plus and even though my feet and legs felt like they were going to fall off, the gardens were a nice contrast to the usual Paris tourism.
At church, Zabrina really held her own with the French lesson and such which was quite impressive! I introduced her to my favorite soeurs and all the French peeps (some of whom have never talked to me before until that day). I was dissapointed with myself, however, when I declined to read a text in Sunday school when I KNOW I could have read it fluently. Dang it, Julia!
After church, Aubrey, Zabrina, and I went to the temple grounds and bought some convenient store food to tie us over which consisted of a mango, some bananas, chicken meat, and some cheese. What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
After a long and long and long day of walking around the gardens and chateau and all of Versailles, I introduced Zabrina to Angelina's Cafe and their life-changing hot cocoa. Safe to say, her life is changed. She will be taking home a bottle. (:
As we were leaving the gardens, it started to simply down pour on us. There was no shelter, no dry place to hide. Simply soaked through as we trekked to the bus stop. It made for some laughs like it always does! **Refer to Rome.
These weeks of tour guiding are going to be long and exhausting but I think they are going to be fun! Let the games begin!

“Oh, London is a man's town, there's power in the air;
And Paris is a woman's town, with flowers in her hair;
And it's sweet to dream in Venice, and it's great to study Rome;
But when it comes to living, there is no place like home.”
― Henry van Dyke
