A beautifully sunny day out in Paris was just what we needed after dreadfully awful weeks of rain here. Aubs and I met up to get picnic foods and then head out to the far corner of Paris to see the Chateau and the cool "PARIS" letters in the nearby park. It was so relaxing, definitely made that Thursday a day for the books. Or, this book at least.
This big park had a cool amphitheater arena, nice fountains, and even a roaming peacock! Two old French ladies were actually chasing the peacock while one was teasing that she was going to step on it's tail feathers. The other lady was like, "Mechante! Mechante!" I got a kick out of those two :)
Safe to say, I got totally fried while we lounged in the sun. Most distinct farmer's tan that I think I have ever had! Me with my stinky cheese and rice cakes and some hummus and carrots. Love picnics!

“Oh, London is a man's town, there's power in the air;
And Paris is a woman's town, with flowers in her hair;
And it's sweet to dream in Venice, and it's great to study Rome;
But when it comes to living, there is no place like home.”
― Henry van Dyke
