Skippity-Doo-Dah

Last three days of school? Skip them.

That's about the extent of the conversation that went on in my head.
Missionary Monday, Aubrey/Cemetery Tuesday, Thursday?

I decided that since I won't be in Paris forever, I want to get to know the city as best I can before leaving. I had not spent much time above ground near Chatelet so I wanted to walk Rue de Rivoli and connect Chatelet to the Marais (I'm a visual learner).

So I did! It was so cold that, in fact, it snowed on me while I meandered through the magical city of Paris and it was amazing and cold but really amazing. Had I been in school, that moment would not have happened. Case closed on that matter.

So I walked (and slipped over the cobblestones in TOMS) and finally pieced that part of the city together in my mind! Great day. And then I was hangry and caved and bought a famous falafel sandwich which was everything I wanted it to be and gluten-ous and warm. Goodness, I'm going to die in Italy. Then Ems came into Paris and we went shopping for makeup! Got me some new lipstick because sometimes we just need to put on a little lipstick.

Then back to the grind with children....hooray.

 Thank you, Zara, for reminding me. Let me just eat my falafel sandwich now.

“Oh, London is a man's town, there's power in the air;
And Paris is a woman's town, with flowers in her hair;
And it's sweet to dream in Venice, and it's great to study Rome;
But when it comes to living, there is no place like home.”
Henry van Dyke
