Run run run run run run...
My sanity therapy sessions are the best parts of my week, for sure.
Saturday morning was one of those sessions. I had a ton of energy (or rather craziness from being pent-up in a house all week with a sick kid) so I started running and just didn't stop. From Sevres to Versailles, then around and through the Chateau gardens by the canal, then out and a little lost, I was feeling great! By the end, however, I was burnt out for sure. About 8.5 miles, and it kicked my butt. I am so out of marathon shape! But the 13th will be my first race since the Rock and Roll Marathon in Seattle and its only a 10k so I think I should be fine.
When I got a little lost, I simply started jogging down the main road I landed on and lo and behold- the temple! I cannot wait until this temple is completed!! I will be so sad to leave France before the dedication but I know I'll be back soon enough. It made me so happy to see it and to cap off my run.

“Oh, London is a man's town, there's power in the air;
And Paris is a woman's town, with flowers in her hair;
And it's sweet to dream in Venice, and it's great to study Rome;
But when it comes to living, there is no place like home.”
― Henry van Dyke
