This week, Fred was in Berlin on a business trip and Delphine's friends came to stay with us while they were on vacation. The mom (Lea, i think?) is a big-time runner and is training for her first marathon. She put me to shame in every aspect of running! It was so nice because she spoke to me in French a lot and, while I sucked at responding and tried so hard to understand, it was great practice:)
And her three kids were so nice! Benjamin,Adele, and Leopold spoke less English than her and so it was fun to practice with them around the dinner table while the parents were out.
Definitely made my nights a bit easier with Malo and Alex since I wasn't forcing myslef to play with them, but they are certainly exhausted now!

“Oh, London is a man's town, there's power in the air;
And Paris is a woman's town, with flowers in her hair;
And it's sweet to dream in Venice, and it's great to study Rome;
But when it comes to living, there is no place like home.”
― Henry van Dyke
