Fridays are the BEST! I don't have to go to school, I don't have to pick up the kids, usually I can arrive home later than normal, and usually the parents go out so the kids and I can watch a movie. Halle-freaking-lujah!
Today, I was really feeling that Friday jazz. I was practically skipping down the hill with the kids to school and came back for a nice workout in the mini home gym. Pretty great. Then I went out into the beautiful sunshine and strolled around Paris, visited le Musee de l'Orangerie and saw Monet's Waterlillies, strolled over to St. Michel and grabbed some lunch from a Greek restaurant/window (really yummy sausage and fries), and then went shopping at the Bio Store for gluten-free food! It is a dismal selection here in France but it will suffice. Besides, I'm feeling good, the weather is beautiful (cold 3 degrees and funky hail storms occasionally, but sunny!) and I get to go out to a movie tonight. It's "la nuit des garcons" :)
Delphine and Julie are going on a train somewhere to visit somebody from tonight to tomorrow night so I am free once Fred gets home! Delphine was telling Alex yesterday, "It'll be the boys night since Julie and I will be gone" and Alex was like, "Ya but what about Julia?" Hahahaha At least somebody includes me in the picture lol (No, they do, it's fine)
I'm thinking...The Peanuts Movie? We shall see.
Ahhh 2 hours of babysitting, I cannot believe my ears. That sounds great. Je suis tres tres contente!

“Oh, London is a man's town, there's power in the air;
And Paris is a woman's town, with flowers in her hair;
And it's sweet to dream in Venice, and it's great to study Rome;
But when it comes to living, there is no place like home.”
― Henry van Dyke
