Strasbourg...or nah?

Well, I had a random day in my week not occupied with plans so I decided to try and get a travel adventure out of it. I bought a bus ticket to Strasbourg, France, the oldest Christmas city in the world that apparently is the picture-perfect French city. The itinerary was to leave 7am from Paris on Thursday morning and arrive back to Paris at 6 am Friday. Well, I woke up early, had everything planned out perfectly, and then completely missed my bus...

Always a time for firsts.

I wasn't too heart-broken because I was completely exhausted and enjoyed a nice day at home doing nothing (making a 1D music video) but was a little bummed that I couldn't get a refund. 32 euros down the drain. But at least it wasn't a flight or a booked room or something. It was relatively cheap so I'm not sweatin' too much. Just going to go without a few things for a little bit to make up for it! Plus it saved me from buying souvenirs and food in Strasbourg. C'est pas grave.

Well hopefully that's the last time I miss a bus or anything out of town! The sunrise on my way home was beautiful! The weather in Paris lately has been incredible.

“Oh, London is a man's town, there's power in the air;
And Paris is a woman's town, with flowers in her hair;
And it's sweet to dream in Venice, and it's great to study Rome;
But when it comes to living, there is no place like home.”
Henry van Dyke
