Disney Day #3

Another awesome thing abouth Beth Schellhous- she offered to let me use her Disney pass if I wanted to go! Holla. Not about to pass that up. I love rollercoasters now.

After the day with the Soeurs, I went home and tutored my neighbor boy, Basile, as his au pair left to find another job. A chance to make some extra cash and and it's super easy! Sweet. After I got done with him, I ran to the train station across town to catch the RER to Saint-Germain-En-Laye so that I could go pick up the pass from Beth. Well, two hours later, I finally made it! And then had to run to catch the last bus to the RER Gare hahaha

Life is funny when it evolves around public transportation...

But then a late night and a really, really early morning to get to Disneyland on Wednesday was so worth it. I love Disneyland! Although, Wednesday was so, extremely crowded. And so cold!! Oh la vache. Crush's coaster, the Peter Pan flight, Aerosmith, and R.C.'s Ramp thing consisted of (two hours each) MASHO, Hang-man, the Song lyric game, and the movie title game. Holy smokes it was a lot of waiting in line for a 2-minute thrill of excitement hahahaha

But I love it and it was free to me thanks to the Schellhous'! It was a great day at Disney as it always is:) And I definitely didn't come unprepared. My backpack was filled to the brim with snacks (that I sprinted to buy at 9:30pm the night before after I made it back from the RER). It was a crazy two days of late nights, early mornings, and running everywhere. And to add to that....Thursday morning consisted of a 5 am wake up to catch a bus to Strasbourg for a 24-hour adventure. Good thing I am young and can recover from these things!

“Oh, London is a man's town, there's power in the air;
And Paris is a woman's town, with flowers in her hair;
And it's sweet to dream in Venice, and it's great to study Rome;
But when it comes to living, there is no place like home.”
