Vacations over (sob!) and the work is back. Aka, the kids are back. Yay.
Well, Monday went surprisingly great. I was waiting for the shoe to drop. My host family got back late Sunday night from the mountain so I know the kids were exhausted so I was expecting the reign of terror. It was a smooth sailing day. Oh em gee. Faaaaabulous!!! It certainly helped that my host mom was gone the whole day working. Alex, the 5 year old, is way better behaved when she's not there to coddle him.
Tuesday? Reign of Terror commences. Wednesday? Full throttle.
The shoe has dropped.
Can't. Wait. For. The. Weekend. Possible weekend trip? Je pense que.

“Oh, London is a man's town, there's power in the air;
And Paris is a woman's town, with flowers in her hair;
And it's sweet to dream in Venice, and it's great to study Rome;
But when it comes to living, there is no place like home.”
― Henry van Dyke
