Some Paris Love

Just another post about some glorious Paris lovin'.

 Apparently, the Champs-Elysses will now be closed to cars on the first Sunday of each month to try and let Paris "breath". I think because of the popularity from last time, this new idea has kicked in and it may even make a difference in the air quality of the city. WHo knows. I just know that our picnic on the Champs-Elysees can now be a recurring thing!
 It's quite fitting that I found this parc in May because Mother's day in the US is at the beginning of the month while in France it is at the end of the month. In turn, I'm just thinking about my mom all month long!

 Bakery, what are you doing! Macarons are supposed to be gluten free! They're made with almond powder! This just proves that all those other macarons you're selling are phonies made with white flour. Ha! I see right through you.

Now I just need a guy to buy me flowers from a Parisian flower shop....

“Oh, London is a man's town, there's power in the air;
And Paris is a woman's town, with flowers in her hair;
And it's sweet to dream in Venice, and it's great to study Rome;
But when it comes to living, there is no place like home.”
Henry van Dyke
