BYU bound

The 2 week vacationing has started and I got an email from BYU saying that they reached a decision on my application and to go check the site. I was freaking out! With every other application I had submit in the past year, I was not nearly as nervous as I was for this. Hannah said because this one's the dream! Well, I was pacing around my room, freaking out, host parents were gone in New York so its just me and the kids, I was so nervous and all my family in the states were asleep....so then Hannah called and made me check the decision. I GOT IN!!!!

I was anticipating this moment for forever and I decided that, if I got in, I would want to share my news with the world by taking a photo in front of the Eiffel Tower wearing Hannah's awesome BYU sweatshirt. Well it was work-week during vacation! No breaks at all, no time to do anything. I was dying! And then I was leaving to Italy for a week on Friday so I couldn't wait until then... Man, I just wanted to tell the world my good news.

There was a glimmer of hope when my host mom said I could leave one day at 3 as they all went to the dentist. I made a mad dash for it. Hannah met Aubrey and I at Trocadero and we had a super speed photo shoot where I was basically jumping up and down with excitement. FINALLY. The world could join in on my giddiness.

“Oh, London is a man's town, there's power in the air;
And Paris is a woman's town, with flowers in her hair;
And it's sweet to dream in Venice, and it's great to study Rome;
But when it comes to living, there is no place like home.”
